Magic Cube

Magic The Gathering is a trading card game where players construct decks to battle it out amongst each other. While normally you would construct these decks by buying individual packs of cards, a magic cube allows you to use prebuilt packs over and over again without the need to purchase more. This Magic cube set seeks to go a step further and create completely new custom cards and add completely new rules.

Magic Rules

Magic is a game revolving around attempting to get your opponents' lifetotal down to 0. Typically this is done with creatures but there are "spells" and other in game effects which might reduce one's lifetotal. Additionally, players may win in other diverse means that we may not cover here.

Commander is a variant of Magic (there are a lot) that has a player choose a Legendary creature as their "Commander". This card dictates the kind of cards a person may put in their decks. Player's life totals are 40 and decks are 100 cards where every card (except basic lands) must be completely unique!

Draft is a variant of Magic where players attempt to construct a new deck by openning up packs of cards then choosing a single card and passing the pack to the next person. Players will do this until 3 packs are finished than attempt to make a deck of 40 cards with the cards chosen.

A "cube" is a way for players to draft (see above) a game of magic without necessarily having to purchase whole boosterpacks each time they want to play. The constructor of a cube decides the rules of the cube and fills it with any magic cards they wish. These rules can be found below.

Unique Cube Rules

Drafting Commander Format
- Hybrid mana can count for 1 or multiple color identities
- Colorless mana is fully a color in every aspect and is distinct from generic mana
60 card decks
"Commander Conspiracy" and "Game Conspiracy"
- May have 1 of each active
- Affect the game in some way and must be declared at the start of the game
- Drafted like any other card
Game Achievements
- Are functionally useless but fun
- Must be declared by the player at time of achievement!

Commander Conspiracy

Change your commander in different ways
Only one commander conspiracy may be used
However, you may draft multiple conspiracies, just not use
Active for the whole game

Gameplay Conspiracy

Affect the Game in a slight but meaningful way
Only one gameplay conspiracy may be used
Therefore, you may actively use one gameplay and one commander conspiracy
All conspiracies must be revealed before game starts

Win achievements for doing unique tasks
Achievements themselves are not used for anything but I might chnage that later

Only winnable once per player per lifetime playing
